I purchased this antique doily at a flea market in the suburbs of France. The handmade edging is done with what looks like tatting thread. It's a lovely lace doily/handkerchief, and it's very beautiful. The knitting is incredibly delicate and lovely. As it is from an old era, there may be some minor scratches and stains.
