This is a Hagi-yaki vase. My father often casually placed seasonal wildflowers and pampas grass in it to decorate the alcove. It's an old piece with minor scratches and cracks, but it has a solid feel and a deep flavor. I think the wide mouth and the curve are beautiful. There is a mark on the bottom.
