Because it's a high-gauge (fine yarn) knit, it's easy to wear as an inner layer or as a light outer layer in spring and autumn. The red accent color is easy to coordinate with sneakers or socks, making it a fun design to wear. Also, because it's a slub knit, which has a textured feel from the start, pilling wasn't too noticeable (pills have been removed).
