Mud-dyed Katas-style Kasuri, 9-markings Woven with a rising steam (Tachiwaku) pattern. In the style of a visiting kimono, Shantou embroidery is applied along the pattern on the rising steam. Katas-style Kasuri ground weave is present throughout. Mud-dyed Embroidery is present on the upper front, around the left shoulder. The red areas in the overall photo indicate the embroidered sections. Because the embroidery is understated, it is not too flashy and can be worn with the same feel as a regular Oshima Tsumugi.
