Noh Mask: [Shikami] This is the most intense expression of anger among Noh masks. It has a deep V-shaped wrinkle on the forehead, dramatically raised eyebrows, and an open mouth revealing golden fangs and teeth. The eyes are also golden. The name "Shikami" comes from the word "shikameru," meaning to scowl. It is used for roles such as demons and the spirits of earth spiders.
