Mr. Kanichi Araki's works are characterized by a unique and beautiful blue, such as the impressive turquoise blue and the vibrant green glaze. The turquoise blue is especially his signature color. (Personally... I'd say he's at the top of the top in Japan.) The size is a convenient 21cm, and the pattern carved with a plane and the smooth texture, along with the vivid colors, will enhance your food. (It's beautiful even without anything on it.) I've used it several times for cakes, sashimi, sandwiches, cheese platters, and prosciutto. (I put toast on it, but I don't recommend it because it's slippery.) There are some color fading (image ⑦) and color spots (image ⑧), but I hope you can appreciate them as part of the work's character. This is a set of two plates.
