This doll was made about 30 years ago. The Steiner C-type dolls have a lovely, childlike appearance with chubby cheeks. There is a small stain on the nose, and a scratch on the forehead, but the forehead will likely be hidden by the wig. The rubber bands are still strong, but there are scratches and stains on the body. The eyes are blue-gray paperweight glass eyes. The wig is handmade and blonde. The dress and hat are made of gentle pink flower-patterned off-white silk, but there are small stains. The underwear has been bleached, but the yellowing remains. Lace has been added to cover the areas with damage. It may not be a perfect item, but I think it is a very charming doll with a strong presence. The word "decluttering" is a bit sad, but I am listing this doll in the hopes that it will find a new home. Height: 57 cm A stand is also included.
