Exquisitely delicate shibori! The subtle colors are elegant. This is a very rare kimono by Yoichi. It's expensive, but I was told it's incredibly light and soft. Indeed, among my kimonos, it's as soft and fluffy as Oshima Tsumugi and Honba Yuki Tsumugi... it's difficult to describe in words. The colors subtly reflect the shibori, pale gray, and pale purple. The lining is also eggplant navy, which is elegant. (Both the lining and the back lining are of the highest quality) You can wear this with confidence to any occasion. I remember it cost around 600,000 yen when it was made, including tailoring. I wore it once for a kimono dressing class, to match with an obi. I'm captivated by the colors! I've spent more time enjoying matching it with obis, obi sashes, and obiage, and haven't had a chance to wear it, so it's been in storage.
