I was told it was a real pearl, but I had it appraised before listing it, just to be sure. Using a loupe, someone spent time carefully examining it and concluded that it is a "well-made imitation." It looks like a real pearl at first glance. Please forgive any oversights or insufficient checks due to my amateur inspection.
