The plastic on the power outlet side appears to be yellowed due to aging. I have confirmed that this product can be used by plugging it into an indoor power outlet, initializing it, and then connecting the LAN connectors of the router and a laptop to the adapter, and accessing a webpage. Initialization may be required depending on the environment, but I cannot provide support. Please consider this if you can resolve any issues yourself. This is a layman's inspection.
