[Overview] This unit is a Pioneer CDJ-1000mk3, one of the club's standard machines. Compared to typical used items, this unit has been cleaned and had parts replaced for preventative maintenance. The mk3 is rare compared to the 1000/mk2, as fewer people sell them. [Why We Recommend It] This is a standard piece of equipment that's expected in a booth. If you get used to this CDJ, you should be able to DJ without any problems on the latest CDJs. After maintenance, I mixed for a little over an hour using CD-Rs. I was able to use it comfortably without any problems. The touch-sensitive Vinyl mode (actually, a slight push) is also convenient. While not many people do serious scratching with this equipment, Pioneer's time stretch sounds good, so you can confidently produce scratch sounds. The touch-sensitive parts of the CDJ-1000mk3 often wear out, but this unit is almost as good as new. The CD read error rate has been measured and is OK with plenty of margin (with used CDJs, even if they work, they may be judged as NG, and those CDJs are nearing the end of their lifespan). CD-R/RW discs can also be played (however, they may not play correctly depending on the disc characteristics, scratches, etc.) MP3 files can also be played.
