New calligraphy brushes from Osaka Ebisu-bashi Suji Tanseido, a long-established store trading since the Edo period. This is a set of 3 brushes: Gyouun (small), Gyouun (medium) made by Kinkado, and a No. 4 brush with "Hiryu Zaiten" written on it. Gyouun holds ink well and is used for ink wash painting, Japanese painting, sumi-e (ink painting), and haiga (haiku painting). Regarding the No. 4 brush made by Tanseido with "Hiryu Zaiten" written on it, the details are not well known. Please check the image as one of the caps is bent. Although they are new, they have been stored at home for a long time.
