This is sometsuke porcelain, produced in Kaseyama, Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, for a short period from the late Edo period to the Meiji period. It is characterized by its delicate cobalt blue patterns on a cool white background, replicating the blue and white porcelain of China. Deer patterns are depicted. There are several repairs with "new" (likely referring to hairline cracks that have been repaired). The size is approximately 19cm in diameter. The height is approximately 8cm.
