Thank you for viewing this item. This is a pair of Johnston & Murphy wingtip shoes. These are leather shoes made by Regal (Chiyoda Shoes), and feature a spade sole, a design seen in vintage leather shoes. I believe this was a top-of-the-line model at the time. Compared to current Regal leather shoes, you can see that they used finer, better quality leather. How about these domestically-made vintage shoes, which are said to be better made than their American counterparts from the same era? I have performed a simple cleaning and condition check before listing. ・Fine creases are visible, but there were no critical cracks. ・The soles and heels are original. ・The heels have some wear, but are in good condition. ・There is very little fading of the insole printing, and no visible foot imprints. I believe these are from the 1980s-90s, and considering they are at least 30 years old, the condition is very good.
