Early 1900s, a horse blanket used in America before the advent of TV. The color schemes and patterns are cool, and it has a special atmosphere unique to horse blankets that have been around for over 100 years. At the time, different patterns were made at textile factories across America, making the variety another appealing aspect. The number of existing blankets is small, and they are difficult to obtain even in the United States, so I have been collecting them little by little over 10 years. You can use it in a variety of ways, such as for camping, picnics, as a rug on a tent or wooden deck, or draped over chairs and sofas. The red line has a stencil of "BLUE STONE," the blanket maker at the time. There is some damage and fraying due to the more than 100 years of aging, but the fabric is still sturdy and has a wonderful presence.
