This item was passed down from my brother and worn by my daughter for her 3-year-old Shichi-Go-San celebration. It has been used a total of three times, including by my brother's child. When my daughter was 3 years old, we adjusted the kimono by folding it up with a waist cord. Since she wore a vest (hifu), it wasn't noticeable (see photos). While there are no visible stains or damage on the kimono itself, the box is damaged, and the zori (sandals) show signs of wear from outdoor use.
