Mochizuki Mari's works are exquisite, with a natural form and a deep color that exudes a unique presence when held in your hand. These pieces by Mr. Mochizuki are not often seen outside of special exhibitions. The Itchin technique is characteristic, and the colors are so wonderful that they are breathtaking. They have a subdued atmosphere, like Chinese tin teacups from about 100 years ago, which makes enjoying sencha tea time even more enjoyable.
