This item was used about 50 years ago when I was a Boy Scout. I think it would be useful for outdoor activities, fishing, camping, etc. The leather cover shows signs of wear and rust on the metal parts. The main metal part is labeled as stainless steel, but I don't know the manufacturer. Please understand that this is an old item before purchasing.
