This is a CARAN D'ACHE ballpoint pen, from the Ecridor series, the Damier. "Damier" is French for chessboard, checkerboard, or checkered pattern. The body features a grid-like design. It's a click-type ballpoint pen, and the top has a logo that resembles the cross-section of a pencil. Please see the second photo. There are fine scratches on the body and clip. I don't believe there are any major scratches, but to avoid any issues, I've listed it as having some scratches and dirt. It may be difficult to see due to light reflection, but I've taken several photos of the scratched areas. Please check the photos. The pen contains a red ink refill that I was using. There is still ink remaining, so you can use it. There is some deterioration on the lid inside the case where the pen is inserted. This is due to aging, as it has been stored without being used. When shipping, it will be placed in its dedicated case, wrapped in cushioning material, and then packaged in a cardboard box. I believe this is a wonderful brand with many sophisticated designs. Please consider it.
