As it is, the large Velcro surface is stiff and slightly uncomfortable, but in fact, this Velcro comes off cleanly!!! It comes off by painstakingly cutting the stitches with a sharp blade and removing the stitches. (Please do so at your own risk, being careful not to damage the main body with a blade. We are not responsible for any damage.) Removing the Velcro transforms it into a general-purpose pouch, and it becomes an incredibly easy-to-use pouch.
