This is a natsume (tea caddy) made by Munetetsu Nakamura. It is an elegant and refined item with a black pine needle design on a red lacquered base. The pine motif symbolizes good fortune and can be used regardless of the season. It would be useful for tea practice as well as small tea gatherings. There is a signature on the bottom. There is a slight scratch on the edge of the lid (see photo 7), but there is no noticeable damage, and the overall luster is good, so the condition is good.
