I am selling it now due to childcare. I studied under a bassoonist from the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra. I was careful about intonation, etc. I think this instrument has good intonation. It was a well-regarded instrument among the bassoonists of the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra and my friends who play Heckel. It has a deep sound, and the sound carries well in a concert hall. (I enjoyed playing pieces like Tchaikovsky 5, Sibelius 2, and Brahms and Mozart very much.) To make the sound clear, reeds that are small and thin work well. I had it overhauled about 10 years ago. The pads are not new, but I think they are in good condition. Before listing it here, I had Cremona Gakki, where I purchased it, check its condition. They said it was in good condition with no problems, except for the felt parts shown in the photos.
