This is a Seeds Chromatic Kalimba with 41 keys. I've listed this before. Since the case color changed to black, I've noticed in photos from other sellers that the wood (okoume) of the kalimba appears a bit darker. I've heard that okoume has a reddish-brown core and a pale sapwood, and even when using the same wood, the density and hardness can vary depending on which part of the wood is used, which can affect the sound. When I play it, the resonance is still beautiful, and I didn't notice any difference in tone beyond individual variations. (If I closed my eyes, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.) There are no keys that don't sound from end to end, and there are no buzzing sounds. I'm listing this because I want those who haven't yet acquired one to try it.
