The inscription on the blade has been removed. There are no issues with the sword itself. The blade tip is short. Uses Yasuki Hagane No. 2 steel, entirely handmade. The carved areas have a luster. It looks much better than a piece made with a dull blade. "Black blade" refers to the hilt and the unpolished blade only.
