Here are two lidded teacups I received as a gift about 30 years ago. They are a pair of teacups with hand-painted pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms. They are very delicate, about 1mm thick. Gold leaf is applied around the handle of the lid and the foot rim of the teacups. They are unused, as I displayed them in a cupboard with my Western tableware because they are a lovely item with the celebratory pine, bamboo, and plum blossom design. I have disposed of the original box, and there are no signatures on the items, so I don't know who made them. They arrived in a wooden box from Takashimaya Department Store. I am not familiar with Japanese tableware, but I recognize them as expensive items due to the hand-painted design and delicate firing process. (I hope you can confirm this from the photos) I took the photos in natural light, and the colors look different depending on the distance, but photos 1, 2, and 3 are the closest in color.
