(Double-edged) If the sharpness deteriorates, sharpen with a diamond file from Daiso or similar. The handle is board-shaped, allowing for stable grip and carving from any angle. These are kaki-bera used in pottery classes. Suitable for hand-building, hand-pinching, and carving. I make raku tea bowls, but I couldn't carve as desired with commercially available kaki-bera, so I made my own. These kaki-bera also have a blade on the back of the spatula, so you can carve the inside without slipping. Suitable for porcelain clay, stoneware clay, and earthenware clay.
