This is an elegant yet cute dougake with a design featuring flowing cherry blossom embroidery on a wisteria-colored fabric. Among the many dougake made of Kinran fabric or plain colors, embroidered dougake are not often seen, so I think this is a very rare item. (Size) Nagauta The core material of the dougake, while many are made of plastic these days, this dougake is made using traditional "kyogi" (thin wood), and with the number of kyogi craftsmen decreasing, it is thought to be becoming increasingly rare. Kyogi is made of thin wood and absorbs moisture well.
