Wooden This mask is based on the original created by Magojiro, a Tayu (master performer) of the Kongo-za school during the late Muromachi period, inspired by the image of his young deceased wife. Compared to the Ko-omote mask, it is slender and exudes a sensual charm. There are two hair strands from the center of the forehead and three or four from the temples. It is used in plays such as "Matsukaze" and "Izutsu."
