This is an ofuku-gake, used in Japanese hair styling, made with Nishijin-ori fabric from Kyoto and featuring a cute floral pattern in orange. ☻ It's used for the ofuku hairstyle, which is worn by older maiko (apprentice geisha). (I am also selling a silver hirauchi comb from the now-closed Ikuokaya, so please take a look if you're interested). This one is about the same size as the ofuku-gake used by maiko. The ties are loosely tied so you can adjust them to fit your wig or Japanese hairstyle. Please tie them to your desired length when you use it. ☻ The item itself is unused, but the fabric is not new.
