This is a fukuro obi (formal obi) with embroidery on a woven base. It is a new, unused item. The design features sparrows on snow-covered branches. It is a beautifully detailed embroidery with all-over stitching. The design is a focal point on the otaiko (back) and mae-gara (front) sections. Images 12 and 13 show the mae-gara (front pattern).
