I used the regular scissors twice to cut my own bangs, and the thinning shears only once on my own hair. They are almost unused, with no scratches, stains, or rust. Both have my first name engraved on them, and I cut the string that holds the scissors in the box. I've also used them a few times, so I've lowered the price a bit from the original.
