This is a G-key kena made of Japanese bamboo, Argentinian type. It has vintage rose-colored thread wrapped at the top and bottom. Like the shinobue flute, it has a brand burned into the end of the tube. The inside is coated with cashew lacquer (dark brown) to prevent corrosion and mold, just like the shinobue flute, and it has a good tone.
