These clay dolls are made by coloring unglazed pottery, and are characterized by their round eyes and colorful hues. They are very delicate and fragile, so they are rarely seen in Japan. In addition to the beautiful colors, gold leaf is applied. While listed as having some minor scratches and stains, there are no major scratches, stains, chips, or cracks, and I believe they are in perfect condition for interior decoration.
