This is a sake cup I purchased in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture, and it's one of the first pieces I acquired when I started collecting. I'm not sure how it's classified within Karatsu ware (e.g., E-Karatsu?), but I personally feel a sense of "wabi" and "sabi" in the subtle colors of the glaze. The size is a bit small, with a diameter of 58mm and a height of 50mm. I've hardly used it, and it's been stored in its box, so there are no scratches or stains. I have a collection of sake cups, but I don't use them, so I'm putting this one up for sale.
