Mitsumine Shrine (Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture) is a shrine said to possess some of the strongest "Ki" (spiritual energy) in the Kanto region. The main deities enshrined are Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto, and it is believed to bring blessings for matchmaking, warding off evil, and good fortune. In particular, the "wolf (Oinu-sama)" is considered a guardian deity, and many visitors pray for protection against theft, disasters, and for the safety of their families. Located in the mountains of Okuchichibu, it is also popular as a power spot for cleansing the mind and body.
