This is a BF type outlet that can be used in places like the Maldives. A power cable is included, so you can use it as is. When going on a Maldives cruise for diving, you can plug in Japanese outlets directly, but the construction was often poor, and they would fall out in the morning. It was very troublesome if camera batteries couldn't be charged, so I always used this outlet. Connecting through this dedicated outlet provides very stable power, so I recommend it.
