I purchased this reed a year ago at a musical instrument store and used it for practice about once a week. I also used this reed for a solo competition. There are scratches and peeling of the logo on the part where the ligature touches, due to using a JLV ligature, but the condition of the vibrating part of the reed tip is fine, and it can be used immediately.
