Diameter: 6 cm, Height: 4.5 cm (approx.) Both the main body have no noticeable scratches or stains. The original box shows signs of aging. Began making pottery around 1960, and apprenticed to the 14th generation Raku Kichizaemon in 1965. He succeeded to the name of the 4th generation Sugita Shohei in 1999. Characteristics: Creates works that incorporate a modern sensibility into the delicate and gorgeous colors of Ninsei and old Kiyomizu styles. The "iroe" (color painting) featuring motifs of plants, animals, and seasonal scenes is a characteristic feature. Technique: Uses the "okiage" technique, which involves applying color on top of the glaze to create a three-dimensional and gorgeous expression.
