This is a beige silk fukuro obi (bag-style obi) with a gorgeous floral pattern. I purchased it about 10 years ago on an online auction as a new, unused item (with some age-related wear). The hanging part of the obi has embroidery that says "Meitetsu Fukuro Obi" (明綴袋帯). It features a pattern of gold clouds and a flower cart on a silver background. I have used it about 3 times. There are no noticeable stains, but there are signs of wear and creasing from being tied. The pattern on the body of the obi has thick threads. Because the background color is silver, the fold lines look a bit dirty. It is wearable. It is also recommended for remaking/upcycling. Width: 30.3 cm Length: Approximately 430 cm.
