I'm a 78-year-old tech-savvy grandpa running a computer repair shop in Kumamoto City. This is a transparent, square, white plastic lighting hood. It's a protective hood for an incandescent light bulb, originally installed in an old TOSTEM (now IXIL) system bath unit. When the house was new, the incandescent bulbs deteriorated quickly due to heat, turning yellow and cracking, so I replaced them with LEDs. I bought this hood about 10 years ago on Amazon and used it in my bathroom for about 3 years. I removed it during a renovation, but I had a hard time finding it, so I thought there might be others who need it. Please consider it. It's a square with sides of 235mm. The depth is 95mm. It's not new, but it has no cracks and is almost free of yellowing. The base has a round, φ150mm screw-type fitting. A black sponge ring (washer) was attached to the base of this screw, but it deteriorated badly and I threw it away.
