As shown in images 10 and 11, it has some knots and a slight sheen, characteristic of tsumugi. Image 4 is the closest to the actual color. The collar is the type that is drawn with thread, rather than snap closures, so there is no worry of rust stains. This kimono was purchased at Daimaru in Kyoto. I received this beautiful tsumugi, but the sleeve length doesn't fit me. I was planning to have it altered, but I haven't had the opportunity to wear it. I hope someone who appreciates it will take it while it's still in good condition. It is an unused item with the basting threads still attached, but it has been stored at home for a long time. There is no odor, but there are some creases from storage. Other than that, I don't think there are any particular issues.
