These are moccasins from the Alber Elbaz era of Lanvin. They were not available at Lanvin's directly-owned stores, and while I've forgotten the shop's name, I purchased them at a select shop in Gaien. When you wear them, they have a clean, minimalist look, and are perfectly both mannish and feminine, just as you'd expect from Elbaz... I'm completely captivated. They're an item that goes well with both pants and skirts. And, perhaps because of Mr. Elbaz's strong aesthetic sense during this period, the craftsmanship is meticulous and the silhouette is superb.
