Workman Trek Shoes Azim 28.0cm Purchased new in August 2025 for 4500 yen. Used twice for day hikes and once for walks. I've become more interested in challenging mountains, so I'm selling these even though I liked them. Being Workman, they should fit Japanese feet well. For reference, I climbed Hakuba Norikura (approx. 2500m) at a slightly fast pace, and I didn't feel any pain anywhere. Compared to full-fledged hiking boots, the toe guard and sole are a bit less rigid, but conversely, I think that's why they're less likely to cause blisters. (Good for Mercari?) Regarding the toe guard, I hit it against rocks about 3 times, and felt a little pain twice, but there were no bruises. If you hike at a slower pace than I do, I think it will function sufficiently. The waterproofness is also sufficient. It's waterproof up to 6cm from the ground, and I walked through muddy areas with flowing water without any problems. Therefore, it has the functionality to handle beginner-level hiking. It seems that many people quit hiking after 2-3 times due to financial reasons, so if you're climbing low mountains, these Workman trekking shoes are lighter than other hiking boots, and I highly recommend trying them out for your first hikes because they are inexpensive. Washing with water is not recommended, so I brushed them, but some dirt remains. Please check the images for the actual condition of the product.
