Born in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture in 1965. Graduated from the Painting Department of Tama Art University, and after serving as an assistant in the Printmaking Department of the same university, he creates works using a unique technique called crossgraph, which involves printmaking on boards covered with fabric.
