A collection of works by Seishi Takahashi. The second item from the left is a work from the 1950s and is said to be a rare piece. Seishi Takahashi (1911-1978) Lineage: Yajiro Teachers: Seisuke Takahashi / Kazaburo Ogura / Makoto Sato Pupil: Takataka Sato [Biography] Born on September 15, 1911, as the second son of Seisuke Takahashi and Sata, farmers and lumbermen in Shichigashuku Village, Katta District, Miyagi Prefecture. His father, Seisuke, was the younger brother of Kazaburo Ogura of Yajiro, and he became the adopted son-in-law of Chotaro, the eldest son of Kokichi Takahashi of Seki, Shichigashuku Village. His mother, Sata, was Chotaro's eldest daughter.
