Final price, reduced! This item has been stored at my parents' home. Okura Toen OKURA Cups & Saucers & Small Plates - Set of 4 A lovely white porcelain tea set. Elegant design with small pink, blue, and yellow floral patterns. The edges of the plates have an embossed, three-dimensional design. No scratches or scuffs. The gold trim around the edges is also in beautiful condition. Perhaps due to age, the gold decoration on the cups has a somewhat subdued luster. There are 5 saucers, so I will include an extra one. Cups: 9.5 x 5.2 cm (plus 2 cm for the handle) - 4 pieces Saucers: 14.4 x 1.7 cm - 5 pieces Small Plates: 14.7 x 1.8 cm - 4 pieces The backstamp is not the usual one. It's different from the standard "OAC" logo, but it is genuine Okura Toen. I researched the backstamp, and it's commonly called the "claw mark" stamp, dating back to around 70 years ago, from 1954 to 1959. Although it's quite old, the condition is good. I think it's very rare to have the small plates that match the cups & saucers still available. A retro and charming item. What do you think?
