This is a Katatsuki tea caddy made by Teiichi Oketani, a Kyoyaki potter. The body has no scratches or stains. The shifuku (protective silk pouch) is Jukodonsu. It is said to be named after Murata Juko, who loved it, and is a deep hanada color (light indigo). The design features a three-clawed dragon and small peony arabesque, with flaming jewels woven into the fabric. It is said to have been made from the dofuku (outer garment) presented to Yoshimasa Ashikaga. The tea caddy has the mark "定" (Tei) stamped on the bottom.
