Approximately 7.5 cm in height, approximately 7.4 cm in diameter. Made by Takao Wakashima, a popular lacquer artist from Wajima. It is a Natsume (tea caddy) with ivy makie (sprinkled design). There are few signs of use, and it is in beautiful condition. A written inscription by Sokan Horiuchi of the Omotesenke school is included. The accompanying box is also clean, with only slight yellowing.
