It's a beautifully crafted piece with meticulous handwork. I haven't been able to use it because I feel it's too precious, so I'm offering it to someone who is looking for it. The material is maple, with a gentle and beautiful wood grain. I believe it was finished with beeswax. It has an antique-like appearance, so it would look lovely paired with antique plates.
