I purchased this at the Conran Shop some time ago. It's a ROYAL BOCH ceramic butter dish with a lid. The soft ivory curves make me happy every time I use it. I bought it about 30 years ago and used it for about six months, but it's in very good condition. Royal Boch originally started as the BOCH Frere pottery factory in Luxembourg in the early 19th century. After repeated splits and mergers, Royal Boch S.A. was established in the late 1980s.
